After dealing with yet another chupacabra (chupucabra) attack I decided it was time to talk about this dreaded little cryptid. I've got to say I have a begrudging respect for these little bastards. They are fast, devious, and they bite really hard.

Chupacabra means "goat sucker" and is responsible for systemically killing animals in places like Puerto Rico, Miami, Nicaragua, Chile, Mexico, and Pasco county Florida. As the years have gone by the local population of the little beasties has exploded, in particular on the west coast of Florida (the area of Hudson, New Port Richey, and Pasco county specifically). The creature's name originated with the discovery of some dead goats in Puerto Rico, and according to UFO Magazine (March/April 1996) there have been more than 2,000 reported cases of animal mutilations attributed to the chupacabra. The chupucabra is real, folks.

Authorities maintain that the deaths are due to attacks from either stray dogs, satanists, young republicans under the influence of liquor, and even swamp gas. The poor panther has even been blamed. Strangely enough, the authorities have yet to connect the venerable skunk ape to any attacks in Pasco county, but we will have to wait and see (subject of another page). A veterinarian has even said "it could be a human being who belongs to a religious sect, even another animal. It could also be someone who wants to make fun out of the Puerto Rican people."

Puerto Ricans? Please. We all know the chupucabra is the menace at work here.

What you can do Information is the weapon. And a .38 caliber pistol works good too. If you happen to catch a chupucabra (chupacabra) at work do everything you can to stay away, and take a photograph if possible. Mail them to this site so we can do the good work of bringing the reality of the chupacabra menace to the public eye.

Send photos to: xena@superhappyfuntimestore.com

I promise we will post all pictures of chupacabras that we can.
